I'm not a Balearic resident. What can I claim?
Municipal IBI and ICIO rebates, which are tied to the property. Regional grants (FACTOR, FOTOPAR) require a Balearic domicile, and Spanish income-tax deductions require Spanish tax residency.
Can I combine FACTOR with the tax deductions?
Yes, but the grant is deducted from the base of the tax deduction. You can't deduct money you got back as a grant.
When does FOTOPAR open again?
Nothing is announced yet. The 2025 and 2026 calls both opened in late January, so early 2027 is likely. Sign up for the alert and we'll email you the day it opens.
Who applies for the grants?
Most installers in our network file the FACTOR application for you and prepare the documents for municipal rebates. Tax deductions you claim yourself in your return.
