Does it cost anything?
No. It's free for homeowners, with no obligation to hire anyone. Installers pay to be part of the network.
Are you an installer?
No. We're an independent matching service. We don't install, set prices or take payment for jobs. Your agreement is with the installer you choose.
How many installers will contact me?
Up to three, and only ones who cover your town, do your kind of job and speak your language. You can ask for fewer.
I live abroad. Can I still get quotes?
Yes. Installers in our network quote from photos, the satellite view and a video call, visit with your caretaker, and handle paperwork with a power of attorney if needed. Tick 'I'm not on the island' in the form.
What subsidies are open right now?
For residents: FACTOR pays 45% on home batteries and 70% on EV chargers until 28 February 2027 or until the budget runs out, there's a new 10% state income-tax deduction for systems finished in 2026, the Balearic 50% deduction for main homes under income limits, and municipal IBI and ICIO rebates. The FOTOPAR panel grant closed in April 2026. Use the subsidy checker.
Do I need a permit for solar panels in Mallorca?
Usually a comunicació prèvia at the town hall plus the installer's paperwork with the Balearic authority. Catalogued buildings, historic centres, rustic land and the Tramuntana need a licence and a review. See the permits page.
How much does a solar system cost in Mallorca?
A 5 kWp grid-connected system typically costs €5,800 to €8,000 installed with IVA and paperwork; an 8 kWp system €8,200 to €11,500. A 10 kWh battery adds €5,000 to €7,000 before the FACTOR grant. The calculator prices your own roof.
Will installers keep calling me?
We share your request with no more than three installers. If you decide not to go ahead, tell them and that's the end of it. Tell us too if anyone oversteps.
